After sleepwalking through the attempts on Sunday, Apotheosis and Majordomo eventually pass out from exhaustion. It's time to step up our game as we move on to Ragnaros. 

Thanks to everyone who put in the time to get her down. It was a clean kill with good execution and quick thinking from everyone involved.

The Baleroc encounter proved to be both thrilling and demanding, requiring intense focus and exceptional performance from everyone involved. Once our healers began to get the Vitals under control, it became apparent that we didn't have quite enough oomph to clear the enrage timer. Unfortunately for Baleroc, we soon discovered that putting Lilanne on DPS is enough to overcome a seemingly insurmountable obstacle. 

It took some time to discover a winning strategy, but in the end we emerged victorious over Beth'tilac and her brood. Special thanks go out to Kiri for evasion tanking her while I climbed back up to the web, to Zalen for coming in to help us get the kill, and to AT&T for allowing Juf to stay connected long enough to put out wicked deeps. 

 

The macro is responsible for any meager success Apotheosis has achieved thus far. It is our guiding light in the darkest reaches of madness. As a new member of Apotheosis, you may be intimidated by its unwavering clarity, its awe-inspiring purity, the absolute finality of its proclamations.  Don't be frightened. The macro accounts for the pure of heart, and would never lead them astray. 

The first lines of the macro typically indicate tanking assignments. The first player name to appear is the tank being assigned to that enemy. Player names listed after the tank's name are the healers being assigned to that tank. 

After tanking assignments are listed, next come the raid group healing assignments. The number listed before a player's name indicates which raid group is assigned to that person.

Following tanking and healing assignments are any special conditions that a particular encounter throws at the raid. This could include interrupt assignments or specific positioning strategies to take place within an encounter. 

There may be times when you think the macro is incorrect. You may think that you have noticed something the macro makers have failed to include in their proclamations. This is understandable as a new member. However, you must resist such moments of weakness. With time you will learn, as all Apotheosis veterans do, that the macro makers are the wisest and most qualified to lead us through our many trials.
